Free is a product tier, not a trust boundary.
The browser never decides whether usage is allowed. The Worker and Durable Object resolve the tenant, count model tokens, and stop platform generation at the plan limit.
- Identity-bound workspace.Self-serve setup runs behind Cloudflare Access, and the registry resolves one tenant membership from the verified email.
- Hard platform model caps.Free starts with 500K tokens per month; Premium starts with 20M. The agent stops drafting when the plan budget is exhausted.

How do you stop malicious free usage?
Free workspaces are authenticated, tenant-scoped, and capped server-side. Calling the APIs directly does not bypass the Durable Object usage counter or the approval gate on external writes.
What is a platform AI token?
A token is roughly three quarters of a word the underlying AI model reads or writes when thinking through your brief. Heavy reconciliation work consumes more tokens than a quick draft. We show the running meter in-app so there is no guesswork.
How does the budget cap work?
Each plan has a monthly platform model budget. When the workspace reaches the limit, Ops Room stops generating new AI drafts until the budget resets, the plan changes, or you bring your own model key.
What counts as a 'brand'?
One Shopify store + its attached Zoho and marketplace accounts. If you sell the same brand on Shopify + Amazon + regional marketplaces, that’s one brand. If you have three Shopify stores under different brand names, that’s three.
Will Ops Room replace my finance or ops team?
No. Ops Room reconciles evidence, names the decision, drafts the next move, and keeps the history. Your team still owns judgment, filing, and final approval.
Do you charge per agent action or per approval?
No. Premium is a monthly workspace subscription. Approving a draft, reading a connector, and inviting teammates do not add per-action or per-seat fees.
